Nabtesco Power Control Company proudly unveils its “Fully Electric Excavator.”

 

In the construction machinery industry, the shift from diesel engines to electric motors is becoming mainstream to reduce environmental impact. However, most powertrain components still rely on hydraulic circuits because they require high torque. Moreover, the energy efficiency of hydraulic mechanisms is quite low, requiring large batteries to maintain operational time.

 

We have successfully developed the world’s first pragmatic “Fully Electric Excavator” by integrating our reduction gears, electric motors, and control systems, which enables us to achieve both “power” and “speed” through our unique technology. This innovation improves energy efficiency and minimizes battery size.

 

We will demonstrate the “Fully Electric Excavator” at the exhibition, where you can experience the operation of the actual machine.
