Awarded the Highest Rating from CDP in Two Environmental Fields Inclusion in the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard 2023

Nabtesco Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Kazumasa Kimura) hereby announces that it was awarded the highest rating and selected for inclusion in "the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard 2023" in the Supplier Engagement Evaluation*1 by CDP*2. We have also been included in the Climate Change A List for fiscal year 2023, which means that it has thus been awarded the highest rating from CDP in two environmental fields for five consecutive years since 2019.

Nabtesco has been promoting environmental management in a broad manner to reduce its environmental impact. In particular, we regard carbon-free measures, which have a large financial impact, as one of the top priority among its issues of management materiality.

FY2024 is the final year of our mid-term management plan, and we are accelerating activities to achieve our goal of a CO2 emissions reduction of -25% (2015 standard), "focusing on solving ESG issues." Accordingly, it has been conducting energy conservation initiatives, including introducing highly efficient equipment to each production bases and fostering the construction and rebuilding of its plant facilities to make them environmentally advanced. In addition, we are promoting various energy creation activities such as solar power generation.

Nabtesco also recognize that addressing climate change risks in the supply chain is an important issue, and has been actively engaged in sharing CO2 reduction methods with suppliers and supporting the setting of voluntary reduction targets.

Going forward, Nabtesco will continue to conduct a range of initiatives to solve various environmental and social issues toward the creation of a sustainable society.
