Selected for Inclusion in the DJBICI World for 10 Straight Years

Nabtesco Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazumasa Kimura) hereby announces that it has been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class (DJBIC) Indices World Index for 10 consecutive years since 2016, and in the DJBICI Asia/Pacific Index for 13 consecutive years.

The Dow Jones Best-in-Class (DJBIC) Indices are a family of environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment indices developed jointly by the S&P Dow Jones Indices of the United States and RobecoSAM of Switzerland, a company specializing in sustainability investment-related research. Companies around the world are evaluated for their sustainability performance based on the numerical assessment of their economic, environmental and social sustainability, and those that are excellent performers are included in the DJBICI.

For this fiscal year, leading companies from around the world have been evaluated, and 317 (including 35 Japanese companies) have been selected for inclusion in the DJBICI World. Specifically, in the Machinery and Electrical Equipment sector, three Japanese companies, including Nabtesco, have been selected.
