Awarded the Highest Rating from CDP in the Fields of Climate Change for Eight Consecutive Years

Nabtesco Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Kazumasa Kimura) hereby announces that it was awarded the highest rating and selected for inclusion in the Climate Change A List by CDP*, which is an international NGO that addresses environmental issues. Nabtesco has been included in the Climate Change A List for eight consecutive years.
Nabtesco has been promoting environmental management in a broad manner to reduce its environmental impact. In particular, the company regards carbon-free measures as an “ESG item having a major impact on financial issues” among management materiality.
Fiscal 2024 is the final year of our medium-term management plan. We are accelerating our efforts to achieve our target of reducing CO2 emissions by 25% (based on 2015) by focusing on solving ESG issues. At each production site, we are promoting energy-saving activities through the introduction of high-efficiency equipment and the construction and reconstruction of the latest environmentally friendly factory buildings. We are also expanding our energy-creating activities through solar power generation.
Going forward, Nabtesco will continue to strive for solutions to environmental and social issues toward the creation of a sustainable society.
