Nabtesco Corporation ranked in Top 10% of S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook 2024

Nabtesco Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kazumasa Kimura) hereby announces that it has been ranked in Top 10% of S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook 2024 for the second consecutive year, which shows the sustainability-related rankings of companies given by US-based S&P Global Inc.
S&P Global Inc. annually evaluates companies across the world in terms of their economic, environmental and social measures. In 2024, the ratings agency evaluated 9,400 companies operating in 62 industries, and from among them selected 759 to receive the honor. Nabtesco was ranked as the world’s No. 5 in the Machinery and Electrical Equipment sector, scoring 74 out of 100.
Nabtesco has been working for the solution of environmental and social issues, upholding “Focus on ESG issues” as one of its management targets in its medium-term management plan for fiscal 2022 to fiscal 2024. The company will continue to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society in line with its corporate philosophy.
