Received orders for brake systems and door operating systems for railway vehicles in Indonesia

Nabtesco Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Kazumasa Kimura) hereby announces that the Railroad Products Company of Nabtesco and its 100%-owned subsidiary, Nabtesco Oclap S.r.l in Italy (Head Office: Turin, Italy; President: Akihiko Saeki, hereinafter “Oclap”) received orders from the Indonesian state-owned vehicle manufacturer (PT Industri Kereta Api) for brake systems and door operating systems for Indonesian commuter railway company (PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia).

This order is to supply brake systems and door operating systems for new railways (192 railcars) operated by Indonesian national railways. Our sales are scheduled to begin in the second half of fiscal 2024. As for the door, we will supply the door directly from Oclap, a company with many years of experience in designing and manufacturing the door for railroad cars globally.

Through this order, the Nabtesco Group will continue its efforts to further deepen its cooperative relationship with Indonesian customers and expand its business.
