Awarded the Highest Rating from CDP in the Fields of Climate Change for Nine Consecutive Years

Nabtesco Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Kazumasa Kimura) hereby announces that it was awarded the highest rating and selected for inclusion in the Climate Change A List by CDP*, which is an international NGO that addresses environmental issues. Nabtesco has been included in the Climate Change A List for nine consecutive years.

Nabtesco has been promoting environmental management in a broad manner to reduce its environmental impact. In particular, the company regards countermeasures for climate change as a “measures to enhance our management foundation” among our management materiality.

Under the previous medium-term management plan (FY2022-2024), targets will work toward the goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 25% (based on 2015 levels) by focusing on solving ESG issues and expect to achieve the target. We will also continue and accelerate our carbon-free initiatives under the new medium-term management plan, which will begin in FY2025. Going forward, Nabtesco will continue working to meet various environmental and social challenges in order to realize a sustainable society.

The international NGO collects and avaluates information on environmental measures implemented by companies.
