In 2024, I experienced significant growth through racing, which was a valuable learning experience. However, I also faced many challenges in achieving the results I had hoped for. I would describe 2024 as a tough year for me. Looking ahead to 2025, I am fully committed to dedicating myself to improving my performance and results. My goal is to make 2025 a year where I can look back without any regrets, giving my best effort in every race and training session. I sincerely appreciate all the support I have received from everyone along the way.

In 2024, We gained extensive experience in various international competitions. Through these experiences, I deeply realized the high level of overseas competitors and became aware of the areas where we need to improve. As a result, 2024 was a challenging year for us, as we were unable to achieve our target rankings.
Because of this, our goal for 2025 is to respond with better results. We aim to make 2025 a year where we can demonstrate our growth and meet our objectives. (Ichihashi)

Last year, we participated in numerous international competitions, including the qualifiers for the Paris Olympics. Unfortunately, we did not reach our target rankings in any of these events. This year marks a generational shift, with some new athletes beginning their activities with the aim of qualifying for the Los Angeles Olympics. Our goals for 2025 include earning medals at the Junior World Championships and achieving a top 70% placement at the World Championships. We want to steadily produce results and make meaningful progress.
In addition to competing, we plan to actively participate in joint training sessions with overseas teams to further develop our skills and gain valuable experience. We are committed to continuous improvement and will work hard to achieve these objectives. (Goto)

In 2024, I struggled to adapt to a new environment, which made it difficult for me to perform at my best in domestic competitions, and I finished far from the podium positions. It was a challenging year for me, and I learned a lot from those experiences. Looking ahead to 2025, my main goals are to win the Intercollegiate Championships and to participate in the World Championships. I am especially focused on overcoming the difficulties I faced in strong wind conditions and on building my physical strength.

In 2024, I faced some injuries, which made the year challenging physically and mentally. Despite those difficulties, I was able to achieve my first medal in a mixed professional competition and also set a Japanese junior record in the snatch. Looking back, I feel that I finished the year on a positive note, having learned a lot from the experience.
Although I expect some changes in 2025, such as adjustments to my weight class, I am determined to stay focused and prepared. I plan to approach each competition with dedication, making sure I give my best effort every time.
