Launch of New Products in the “RVmini® Series” and “Monocrank™ Series” of Compact Precision Reduction Gears

Nabtesco Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazumasa Kimura), Precision Equipment Company, will add two new products to its lineup: the “RVmini® Series,” a compact and lightweight high-precision wave generators, and the “Monocrank™ Series,” which achieves high precision and high rigidity despite its compact size.
These two new products inherit the technology of the “Precision Reduction Gears RV™,” which boasts a cumulative production of over 14 million units and is widely used in industrial robots, machine tools, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and automation/labor-saving devices, delivering high reliability.
In recent years, the robot market has seen a significant increase in demand for compact precision reduction gears, driven by the expansion of new applications such as collaborative robots and humanoid robots, in addition to conventional industrial robots. Meanwhile, our existing product, the “Precision Reduction Gears RV™,” has been highly regarded mainly in the medium- to high-torque range, leaving a gap in our lineup for applications requiring low torque. With the introduction of these new products, we will fill this gap and establish a system that enables flexible and optimal proposals tailored to users’ needs. Going forward, we will provide solutions that meet a wide range of requirements through the “Precision Reduction Gears RV™” and these two new products.
