1925 Nippon Air Brake, Ltd., (capital 300,000) founded at 1-31, Wakihama-cho, Kobe by three companies: Kobe Steel, Ltd., Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Tokyo Gas Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. The company begins manufacture and sale of air brakes for railway cars.
1925 Tokyo Branch (name later changed to Tokyo Office) established in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo Prefecture.
1926 Executive office and plant relocated at 5, Kaigan-dori, Wakihama, Kobe.
1933 Begins manufacture and sale of hydraulic brake systems for automobiles.
1937 Begins manufacture and sale of air brake systems for automobiles.
1938 Executive and plant (Kobe plant) relocated at 3-2058, Wakihama-cho, Fukiai-ku, Kobe (currently 1-46 Kaigan-dori, Wakihama, Chuo-ku, Kobe).
1943 Name changed to Nippon Brake Systems Co., Ltd.
1946 Name change to Nippon Air Brake Systems Co., Ltd.
1949 Begins manufacture and sale of hydraulic equipment.
1949 Listed on Osaka Stock Exchange (currently first section).
1953 Begins manufacture and sale of automatic doors for railway cars and buildings.
1961 Yokosuka plant built (manufacture of hydraulic brake systems for automobiles).
1963 Begins manufacture and sale of marine vessel control systems.
1964 Akashi plant built (manufacture of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment).
1968 Konan plant built.
1970 Nishi Kobe (currently Seishin) plant built (manufacture of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment).
1972 Akashi plant is closed; operations integrated into Seishin plant.

1984 Nippon ABS Co., Ltd., formed by merger with Robert Bosch Co. (Germany).

1991 Yamagata plant built (manufacture of hydraulic brake systems for automobiles).
1992 Name changed to NABCO, Ltd.
1992 Lanson Industries Group (U.S.) bought (manufacture and sale of automatic doors for buildings.)
1993 NABCO Mexicana Co. (Mexico) established (manufacture and sale of hydraulic brake systems for automobiles).
1995 Head office relocated at Isogami-dori, Chuo-ku, Kobe.
1995 Manufacture of automatic doors for buildings transferred from Kobe plant to Konan plant.
1997 General Technology Center built.
1998 Kobe plant built (Nishi-ku, Kobe); operations of former Kobe plant transferred (manufacture of brake systems for railway cars).
1999 Manufacture and sale of hydraulic brake systems for automobiles is transferred to Bosch Brake Systems Co., Ltd., and operation of Yokosuka plant is placed under control of Bosch Brake Systems. Nippon ABS stock is sold to Bosch Brake Systems.
2001 Control of NABCO Mexicana Co. (Mexico) is transferred to Robert Bosch Corporation.
2001 Executive office and head office relocated at Takatsukadai, Nishi-ku, Kobe.
2003 Establishes joint holding company, Nabtesco Corporation, with TS Corporation(formerly Teijin Seiki Co. Ltd.) and becomes a 100% subsidiary.
